I saw these clouds one day in March. It was a terribly windy day. I'd never noticed the clouds doing that before so I just had to take a picture.

Iris

This is a picture of an Iris that's growing in my back yard. My sister always loved these flowers. Everytime I look at them I think of her.

Some things I learned from the fourth grade

Earlier this week I attended a fourth grade class at a local elementary school. While there I learned some things about Tennessee that, well, being from Kentucky I didn't know. For instance did you know that the state bird of Tennessee is the Mocking Bird, the state bugs are the firefly and the lady bug, there are five state songs, and the state tree is the Tulip Poplar. Of course these things may not get you a promotion or anything, but I found it interesting.
