Some things I learned from the fourth grade
Earlier this week I attended a fourth grade class at a local elementary school. While there I learned some things about Tennessee that, well, being from Kentucky I didn't know. For instance did you know that the state bird of Tennessee is the Mocking Bird, the state bugs are the firefly and the lady bug, there are five state songs, and the state tree is the Tulip Poplar. Of course these things may not get you a promotion or anything, but I found it interesting.

Those are cool state bugs. A more cynical person might suggest the termite. :)
Have you seen the synchronized fireflies up in the Smokies?
